Incident Report #00004521 | Subject: XXX XXXXXXXXXX Containment
13 December 2005
Today, we had to restrain Pvt. XXX XXXXXXXXXX from Recon Sector Team 3. He is currently tranquilized in Confinement Cell #XXX. We have no idea what was wrong with him. He stumbled into the cafeteria drenched in sweat, beat-red, and drooling. XXX has a lot of friends here. I personally think he’s one of the friendliest Recon guys. Someone approached him out of concern, and that’s when he went XXXXXXX berserk! He pinned the guy down immediately, and was trying to break his arms or something. It took, like, three of us to get him off. XXX was screaming and growling like an animal the entire time. He couldn’t look us in the eye or respond at all. We tied him up and had to call Containment to come get him. What the XXXX was that?! Are we all gonna start losing it?
Incident Report #00004524 | Subject: XXX XXXXXXXXXX Containment Behavior
14 December 2005
I am part of the staff responsible for monitoring Pvt. XXX XXXXXXXXXX who is being held in Containment Cell #XXX. Today was the first full day of Pvt. XXXXXXXXXX’s containment. He has continued to display extreme aggression towards anyone in his vicinity regardless of appearance, actions, or his past relationship with the person. It seems he is not comprehending our speech at all. XXX refuses to eat when we are around, because he is too distracted trying to attack us. Even if he can only see us through the glass, he will attempt to break through and reach us endlessly, though I suppose we have not tested how long he will really keep at it. Camera surveillance shows that once he is left alone, he will rip his meal apart and engulf it like an animal. His behavior and mental capacity have been similar to that of an enraged ape.
Incident Report #00004526 | Subject: XXX XXXXXXXXXX Containment Release
15 December 2005
At 7:12 AM today, we gave XXX a sedative, bathed him, and cleaned his cell. The sedative wore off within 3 hours, and we expected him to return to his violent craze. Instead, XXX woke up around 10:30 AM very confused, and with his original personality restored. He remembers nothing from the past three days, and is highly fatigued. Some of my staff are still afraid to approach him, but he has returned to his normal self again. He should be removed from the Containment List. I’ll sign for it if needed.
*URGENT* Incident Report #00004527 | Subject: REPLY NEEDED!***
15 December 2005
I’m adding on to my previous report and marking this “urgent” because we just found something really strange down here. I’m not sure who needs to know first.
Just now, a member of my staff, XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX, became very angry over a minor issue in our office. I was surprised to see it, as XXXXXX is quiet and mild-mannered. He was screaming at us, shouting threats, and spitting everywhere. It was a completely unprompted breakdown. Suddenly, XXXXX XXXXXXX from my staff grabbed XXXXXX‘s arm and pointed out a large red welt on the back of his hand.
Upon closer inspection, it was a little red bug. We pulled it off of XXXXXX‘s hand and put it in a sealed container. It’s definitely still alive. Once the tick was pulled off, XXXXXX was his usual self again within a minute or so. He doesn’t remember anything since he helped XXX out of Containment Cell #XXX, we’re guessing that’s when it latched on.
Anyway, we have it sealed up in a glass container. I will have it sent upstairs to the lab at 9:00 AM today. Can someone follow up with me in a few days? I want to be certain there’s only one of these things in the building…
